Under that URL address you will find some more information about the ALBA family (nobility in Spain)
But there is some more I don't know where the name is coming from, what I know is the that in Germany there is a city called Bleialf nowadays and through history it was called ALBIS:by the Romans;; then ALUE; ALVE;ALBE;ALFFE;ALFF and ALF if it has anything todo with the ALBA or ALBE (french spelling) I do not know. But through times names do change and the languages changes them as well (a spnaish perosn would pronounce the name ALVE or ALV as ALB) as for my familyname ALFF there are different sepllings found from ALLEFF;ALEFF;ALF; ALPPEN (from the Barons of Palandt and Alppen)But the real origin...
