Boy! It sure is interesting to read all of these postings. I notice that a lot of the names repeat. Here is what little I know about my Alba heritage:
Grandfather: Jose Hernandez Alba, married Nettie Seabrandt from Kansas City, MO. His brother married Nettie's sister and they were across the street neighbors for some time. Jose's father was Epifanio Alba. Jose was born 4-13-1885 in El Meson De Los Sauces, Jalisco Mexico. His mother was Agetha Maira De Jesus Hernandez. My grandparents had Elias, Luis, Jose, David, Margaret, Rebecca, Henry, Maria Ellena, Ruben, Federico, Victor, and Natalie. These are not in order of birth. My cousin has a good family tree going. If you find that these names are familiar to you, contact me.
Elias (d), Luis (d), Jose(l), Maria Ellena (d), and Ruben (d) were from Azusa, CA.
Margaret (l), and Rebecca (l) are from Imperial Beach, CA.
My dad Federico (l) from Rancho Cucamonga, Ca.
Henry (d) was from Orange County, CA., my nino Elias lived in Orange for years also.
Victor (d) lived up in the Sacramento area.
David and Natalie died when they were still young. Except these two, all the others married and had children.
