Looking for confirmation of the parents of Martha Caroline (Cal) Albaugh who married Thompson Trent and lived in Miami County, IN. When Thompson died, she abandoned the children (John Charles, Sarah, Frank, Albert) and married Francis Hiatt. If her father is George Washington Albaugh, (b c1830) John Charles Trent was raised by his aunt--Melissa Indiana (Ann) Albaugh Flora and her husband John Flora. In 1900 Albert Trent (age 19) was living with Amos (b 1859) and Mary (b1860) Albaugh. What is the connection with 'Cal'?
I am the grandson of John Charles (Charlie) Trent.
