Morris Albaugh, HELP
Posted by: Barry Zbornik Date: August 14, 2000 at 17:12:32

I am starting to work on the Thompson surname out of Carroll Co, Ohio, and would like some HELP with the MORRIS ALBAUGH connection.

PRISCILLA ALBAUGH (1806-1879) married Zachariah C. Thompson (1796-1880), in New Rumley Twp., Harrison Co., Ohio in 1822.They apparently moved into Carroll Co., Ohio, as several of the children show connections.

One of my notes on their son Morris Thompson, indicates he was named after Priscilla's father, which therefore must have been Morris.

Priscilla and Zach T. followed their sons to Brush Creek or Arlington, Fayette Co., Iowa, in 1866. I was raised in Fayette Co., Iowa. Priscilla is buried at Arlington, IA. She would be my ggggrandmother.

I am working to get the Thompson genealogy on FTM. I have a considerable Thompson info, and would like to incorporate some Albuagh or Ohio history. Any help would be appreciated. bzbornik@nemonet.com
