Ella Virginia Albaugh was a daughter of Harrison Warren Albaugh, he was born May 14, 1829 in Jefferson County,Ohio, and died July 19, 1898 in Jefferson County, Ohio. Harrison married Lucretia Davis October 25, 1850 in Bloomingdale, Jefferson County, Ohio. Lucretia was born October 1824 in Ohio, according to the 1900 census, and died in 1909 in Jefferson County, Ohio. Harrison & Lucretia are buried in the Bloomingdale Cemetery in Wayne Township, Jefferson County, Ohio.
Harison's father was Levi Albaugh born August 22, 1806 in Maryland, and died May 21, 1881 in Wayne Township, Jefferson Caounty, Ohio. He married a Sarah Cable who was born April 9, 1808 in Ohio (census records)and died in 1883 in Jefferson County, Ohio. They are both buried in the Pine Run Cemetery in Wayne Township, Jefferson County, Ohio.
Levi's father was Christian Albaugh born about 1783 in Maryland (Date & State from Census records), and died January 24, 1862 in Salem Township, Jefferson County, Ohio. He married a Catherine Reiner on August 4, 1804 in Frederick County, Maryland. She was born About 1783 in Maryland (census records), and died some time After July 20, 1860 in Jefferson County, Ohio. They are both buried in the Annapolis Cemetery in Salem Township, Jefferson County, Ohio.
Now some people think this Christian Albaugh was a son of Morris Albaugh from Carroll County, Ohio. I do not think he is. I have not found any proof yet.
The children I have listed for Francis & Ella (Albaugh) Blackburn are: Ethel May, Lester R., Harry S., Iva I., Daisy Cordelia, Chester A., Moses M., Albert R., Elsie V., and Francis H. Blackburn.
I hope this helps, Richard
