I am descended through John/Henry/Adam/Henry/Solomon Beamer, etc. of Maryland, then Ohio. My line intermarried extensively with Albaughs and Anne Marie Pittenger is one of my ancestors. Some Albaugh genealogists say that she was the second wife of John Beamer (I've also seen his name as "Johan George Beamer"), marrying him after both of their spouses died. John's deceased wife may have been a Nancy Springer. Several of their children married each other and then the whole family moved to Ohio around 1802. Anne Marie died on the way. I have no documented sources for this, although this info is available in a document called "The Albaugh Project" which is on the web. Maybe this blended family explains the duplication you've seen. John (or Johan George) and Nancy Springer have been my brick wall for some time now. Do you have any additional information on John Beamer and/or Nancy Springer? Where did you find a marriage date of abt 1758? Any info you can provide would help me tremendously. Thanks so much!
