It looks like it has been 6 years since you made a posting. I hope you are still receiving notice of followup postings. My Hertzogs on lot 65 of Monocacy Manor (near present day Woodsborro) was not so far from lot 60 belonging to Zachariah Albaugh (near present day Walkersville). Have you ever come across a marriage between the Albaughs and the Hertzog/Hartsocks in Frederick Co.
They attended the same Brethern congregation along with the Hufferts.

During the 1730's the Hertzogs were attending the First Dutch Reformed Church of the Raritan in Somerset Co., NJ. I understand the Albaughs were in Hunterton Co., NJ which borders on Somerset Co., near Raritan. Did the Albaughs also attend the First Dutch Reformed Church of the Raritan?

The Brethern faith still runs deep within my family but I got it from both my mother's father and my father's mother.
