Nicholas-Germany

Searching for Nicholas Albert, married to Wegamena (Sp??) Stork from Germany. Dates and places unknown but they had at least one son, August, who made his way to Dodge County Nebraska to set up a claim by 1870.

August was born in 1839 in Germany. August married "Carlsena" aka Karoline Rahn 20 Sept 1882 in West Point, Cuming County, NE. She was born in Germany in 1858. Her parents were Machales Rahn and Chatharena Kuhn.
I am fairly certain there are discrepencies in the spellings... Family stories say she was from Bassett, Rock County, NE but the marriage license I saw yesterday had all this information on it. Perhaps her parents came over shortly before or after the marriage?

I have found August Albert's name spelled "Albart" in the marriage license.. and otherwise, the information fit perfectly so I believe I have the right people. I can't find any immigration/naturalization information in Dodge County (his residence county), either so I don't know where else to turn to at this point.
If anyone has ideas for me or a "match", please email me at terria_ne@yahoo.com.
Thank you
Terri Alberts
