Thanks for the info. I am descended from the Brooks line (Haladine was my gr-gr-grandmother's sister).

Haladine Brooks was born 6-25-1841 in Lexington, Greene Co. NY, the daughter of Martin and Hannah (Applebee) Brooks. She was one of 12 children; the others were (in order of birth) Lawrence, Nathan, Harriet (my ancestor), Burgess, Sarah, Mary, Mariah, Josephine, Edward, and Jackson.

Martin Brooks was born 11-11-1800 in Lexington, Greene Co. NY, the son of Joseph and Rollins (maiden name unknown) Brooks. He married Hannah circa 1825 in Greene Co., and migrated to LaSalle Co. IL in 1853. He died 12-1-1872 in Grand Ridge, LaSalle Co. IL.

Hannah Applebee was born 9-17-1807 in Lexington, Greene Co. NY, the daughter of Nathan Applebee (wife unknown). She died 8-1-1869 in Grand Ridge, LaSalle Co. IL.
