Interested in Philip Albert, b. 24 Jan 1800. He died in prison, and according to prison (and newspaper) records, death date was 5 April 1870, cause of death Typhoid Fever. I am trying to find out where his wife Catharine is buried and when she died. She is my 5th g-grandmother, and Philip was her 2nd husband. I do have copies of the newspaper articles dealing with the court case of Philip and was allowed in the archives to view the Prison Register. However, due to the size and age of the book I was only able to handcopy the information. Did Catharine & Philip have children together? They were both appointed guardians of Catharine's children by her first marriage, but something was fishy in the accounting and her first-husband's brother asked the courts to have Philip Albert account for the funds. Philip's parents were Joh. Philip Albert & Catharine Herschberger. Any help is appreciated. Please contact me via my e-mail if we connect:
