Hello. I am searching for information on my great grandfather Maxime ALBERT who was born in 1881 in Maine near the Canadian border. His parents, Maxime ALBERT and Marie HILAIRE were born in Maine as well, but considering their proximity to French Canada, it is possible records might indicate otherwise. Maxime ALBERT, my ggrandfather, married Elise NADEAU who was also born in Maine in 1881. Her parents, Pierre NADEAU and Delia CYR, were born Quebec, Canada. Together Maxime and Elise had 14 children, 8 of which survived into adulthood. These 8 children were Louis (b. 1907), Janet (b. 1909), Claude (b. 1911), Irene (b. 1913), Edgar (b. 1915), Martha (b. 1917), Doris (b. 1923), and Gerard ALBERT (b. 9 July 1921). Gerard P. ALBERT is my maternal grandfather. He was born in Maine and later the family relocated to the Stamford/ Fairfield County area of Connecticut where Gerard went on to marry Laura CAPOBIANCO. Any information pertaining to Maxime's (the younger)parents, children, or wife is helpful.
