Two further thoughts about Alders
1. Presentday Longframlington is less than 10 miles from Alnwick, andGeorge and Barbary were buried in "Little Framlington."Their son, Robert, is from "Low Framlington", and their other son John is mentioned as from "Lower Framlington."I do not have birth dates for either of them.Elsewhere in the tree it mentions both Low and High Framlington.Subject to further confirmation, your Alders and mine are almost certainly related.
2. I would be interested to know how you are connected to the Alders. In particular, are you in any way linked to Herbert Tristam Lawrence Alder, aka Jack, b Mar 22 1874, or his brother Randal(l) Rhys Lawrence Alder, b July 25 1876?They both went to the USA before the first World War and were never heard of again by their English family. My mother's father, Ralph Herbert Lawrence Alder, was their younger brother.
