Gary,

Issac Alderton was also my great, great, great grandfather. A family prayer book listed Hannah's name as "Durmett" but a listing of the death of James (one of Isaac's sons) at Grosse Ile listed her maiden name as "Dannet". There seem to be a lot of "Dannet's" in Suffolk. The prayer book also said they arrived on the barque "Caro" while the death notice listed the ship as the "Cairo". I haven't been able to trace the ships logs or passenger lists. I'm descended through Samuel, David and Benjamin.
