Al: I have a copy of the Bexar Archives and there are many notations for a Jose Miguel Aldrete from 1820-1835. References are for La Bahia, Bexar, and Goliad.
My children's lineage is through the union of Refugio San Miguel and Maria Rita Teofila Aldrete, both of Santa Rosa, Coah. She was the daughter of Miguel Aldrete and Francisca Rodriguez. Refugio and Rita were married in Eagle Pass, Tx. She had three sisters, and apparently had a brother Fabian, who is buried in Eagle Pass. Francisca died in 1884 and is also buried in Eagle Pass. I have not been able to find out too much about Miguel after he came to Eagle Pass. He was born in 1805 and his line goes back to Vicente Aldrete who was commandant of Santa Rosa in 1767.
