I know what its like to not get answers to your Alexander messages. What caught my eye with your message was the Blankenship (because there were, maybe still are, Blankenships up in Tennessee where my Alexander family lived back in the late 1800s). I would've seen it and answered sooner, but I go about a week or more sometimes not checking the forums. Unfortunately, the 1890 census records were mostly all damaged or destroyed due to a fire in the Washington D.C. Census Office (if I remember correctly). There probably was census information there that could help you. The most helpful information usually comes from passed-on family history from other family members. That seems to be a rare commodity with a lot of Alexanders though. If only our ancestors knew then how much we want to know about them now. Anyway, I will look again tomorrow (when I'm awake again) to see if I can find any other information and post if I do. Thanks, Scott Lakeland, FL Notify Administrator about this message?
