Trying to find out the identity of a W.E. Alexander who supposedly married Susanna Barefoot, likely in Mifflin Co., Pennsylvania. She was born abt. 1830 in Leacock Twp., Lancaster Co., PA, the daughter of William and Mary (Sheaffer) Barefoot. She is found as Susanna Barefoot in the 1850 census in Armagh Twp., Mifflin Co., PA with her brother James Barefoot. Not found in any subsequent censuses. In Woodlawn Cemetery in Mifflin county is "Infant daughter of W. E. and S. Alexander, and granddaughter of W. and Mary Barefoot, no years, 3 mos., 3 days, " which confirms the presence of this couple in that county, however the date of death is not given. Any help would be appreciated.
