My SAR contact sent me this:
I have a William Anderson Alexander, Patriot, B 30 Jan 1745 MD, D 31 May 1820 Maury Co. Tn, Burial, Ebenenzer Presby, Columbia, TN Wife, Mary Esther Brown, Son Daniel Alexander, Serv PS Lt NC Line, SAR # 151133, TX #08355. This is the closest and the latest member of SAR.
The death date is earlier then the Pension List you found so it might not be him or it is a different man in the Pension list. You can order a copy of the approved application via http://www.sar.org
