I am hoping someone can help me sort out who married my 6th great-grandfather, Francis Alexander, son of Samuel Alexander and Mary Taylor of Somerset and Cecil Counties in Maryland.

I am finding a lot of conflicting information. Some sources say Francis married Martha Blair, daughter of Samuel Blair and Martha C. Lyle. Others say Francis was married to a Jane Blair who might have been Martha's sister. His will lists his wife's name as Jane and children John, Isaac, Emie (or Naomi), Mary, Phebe and Hannah.

Another issue I am having are Fancis' children. I have seen family trees with a son Mark, born circa 1719 in Frederick County, Maryland and a daughter Isabella listed. Does anyone have any sources for these children?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
