Yes, Steve, we are cousins! You come from the Milo line, right? My dad compiled a genealogy book for the Elayer family some years ago and I found you in it. Concerning Joseph and Margaret Dumas, we always thought it was Dumont until I located some birth records from St Martene, QE which identified her maiden name as Dumas. The records were for Narcisse, Philomine, and Nelson. You said that you have Marie, Francois and Pascal- where did you get them from? I do not know if Violet Allaire ("Les Familles Allaire et Dallaire") has our Joseph in their family because I have not yet seen the book nor do I read French, but I am sure we have the correct family. They seem to match up very well both going up the tree and down the tree, so to speak.
