I have a Joseph Allaire b abt 1826 who married 2/23/1846 at Ste-Marie-de-Monnoir (Rouville) Lucie LaPlante daughter of Louis et Agathe (Doiron) LaPlante. Their son Joseph Allaire emmigrated to Taunton, MA where he married 1875 St. Mary's Taunton, MA Rosalie Guillette. I can find no Joseph marrying Almira LaPlante in Violette Allaire's genealogy.

It is possible that these are sisters or different names or of course different people all together.
