Joseph Simon was my father's oldest brother, (my uncle). My father was Frank Burton Allaire born in 1904. There were actually 11 children, Mary Ellen (1883-1961), Martha Celina (1885-1977), Pearle (1887-1970), Anna Bell (1889-1973), Elizabeth/Libby (1891-?), Joseph Simon (1893-?), Louis Gerald (1895-1963), Myrtle(1898-1918), Charles Henry (1900-?), Frank Burton (1904-1973), Herbert (1907-?).

My understanding is that Simon Joseph, my grandfather, was born in Frampton, Canada in 1854 and died in 1935. He married Mary Ellen Free who was also born in Frampton in 1862 and died in 1942.
