This is what I have on my ALLAIRE family member.
Jane Allaire married John Banker Keyes 16 Apr 1814 at the M & E Church on 6th street in NYC. I could not locate any birth info on her. Her Death Cert. shows she died 30 Aug 1864, at the age of 67 yrs 2 mo (which would show her birth June 1797) Place of birth USA

From the Family Search Ancestral file v4.19 it states Jeanne Marie ALLAIRE b 1797 is the mother of Seth Crowell KEYES. (Jane ALLAIRE?)

The church John Banker KEYES and Jane ALLAIRE married in was located across the street from where the ALLAIRE family of James P ALLAIRE Lived during the early 1800.

In the book, "The HOWELL IRON WORKS AND THE ROMANCE OF ALLAIRE" it speaks of this church and their residence.
Also in this book, it states "The Allaire family claim descent from the famous Baldwin, King of Jerusalem, who died in the year 1118..."
Now another tie-in
Seth Crowell KEYES was born to John Banker and Jane Allaire Keyes on 9 feb 1821 NYC. He Died 6 Jan 1893, and in his obit it states "Mr. Keyes could trace his lineage back for centuries. One of his ancestors having been King of Jerusalem....."
This is all well and good, but NO Documentation..
I have a picture of Jane ALLAIRE taken in the early 1800's and would be gland to send you a copy. My great grandmother name maiden was Ida ALLAIRE HILDRETH KEYES.
The big question is Who is my Jane ALLAIRE?
Thank you so much in advance.. any help will be greatly appreciated. Ms Dale in Hemet CA
