Tracing my Ancestory- up to Pierre Allaire (late 1800s)

Hello all,
I'm attempting to go as far up my family tree as possible, but am just starting out.
In the early 1900s (1900-1920) a few of my great uncles were born - Caylx, Luclid, Raymond, Paul, Orien, Ovid, and Ella (all Allaires). My gandfather was Bernard Allaire and these were all of his brothers and sisters. They grew up south of Quebec, & Bernard made his way down to Connecticut.
Their father and mother were Pierre Allaire & Vitaline Landry (they lived near Quebec). Pierre had a sister named Leigha.
I don't know anyone beyond these folks.
Might anyone have any additional information?
Thanks much,
