I have a number of Allaire's in my family tree. They are in my maternal line through the Roy and Brochu lines. However, they start in 1669 and go back to 1573.These Allaires are generally (the Candian ones)in the Ste-Famille,Ile d'Orleans,Montmorency, Quebec,Canada area. The French ones come from Poitou, France. These may or may not be related to you. The further you go back, the more Likely a cousin relationship will appear.
