Hello Maura,

It has been quite awhile since you posted your message, so I hope you are still checking in, as I may have discovered something of interest to you. I recently discovered a cache of historical documents in a small town in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. Among the items I found is a receipt issued by Isaie Landry and signed by Pierre Allaire. It is dated 25 July 1892. I may have other more detailed information on Pierre Allaire, and it will take some time to sort through and compile all the documents/info I have, but eventually it will all end up in a virtual museum on, which is currently under construction. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
