Dee,
Was your Walter married to a May Troxler? I am doing a family tree for my cousin, married to Philip Allday- son of Jerry Allday and Genieva Willis, grandson of Walter and May Allday. If so, he mentioned his walter was born in MS, May from New Orleans. I found one Walter in MS 1920 census-Newton county, living with a J Robert Allday and listed as his nephew. The age fits(9 in feb of 1920- his ssdi listing-Walter's- gives life span as 5/27/1910-Jan 1968. Let me know if this is your family
Jan
