Richard & Frances Ward of Lunenburg County, VA, had a son named Benjamin Ward. He married Mary Duke, daughter of James Duke & Mary Byrd of Westover, Charles City County, VA. Benjamin & Mary had a son named Benjamin Ward who married Selah (Stewart). Benjamin & Selah lived at Ashe Co., NC where he died in 1820. They did not remove to Georgia nor did their children.
