I share a portion of your line.It looks like the connection is in John Allerton (1763), son of Zachariah Allerton (1730) from your posting. This John Allerton had an older brother named Amos Allerton (1760), from which our line has been derived. It then goes to John Allerton (1795), Alpheus B. Allerton, Attila G. Allerton, Alpheus B. Allerton, Alpheus B. Allerton, and then myself. This information has been passed on down the family since before the "Allerton" book was published in the late 1800's.As far as the Mayflower Society acknowledging it, it makes no difference to me, my family knows where we came from.
