Just joined and enjoying reading the posts. I live in Washington, NC, and have much info. Some tying Brnjamin Alligood (1765-1845) who married Polly Woolard. Her father was Absolum Woolard and his father was John Woolard who is listed in DAR for the aid he gave to the patriot cause. He's listed thru of son Willowby who moved to Il. I need only three documents. Here in Beaufort Cty. Alligood and Woolards are numerous and intermarried.
