Confused nut I have it straight now.

I am the 16th grandson of the first French Jew in America. His name was Elias Legardo signed on the muster for the ship Abigail in 1632. He made his life in Elizabeth City just off the Chesapeake Bay. He had vineyards by the acres. He had children with a woman (unnamed) who bore Elligood children to him. I am not going to far in depth yet. But I would like to let the world to know that if you see an Allegood an Ellegood an Alligood and a Elligood, that he or she is a descendent of Elias Legardo the first Jew in America. I am Southern (South Georgia) Baptist but MOZEL TOV to my family and others.

If needed I have the death and birth certificates. It is an amazing thing to know you are an ORIGINAL AMERICAN and have proof.
