Ray, or anyone else have any info on a Thomas Allis who married Rebecca Warner c1800 somewhere near Lexington, KY? Can't find my notes on them now but from memory there were other Warners with them in KY. Believe the Warners were from CN. In 1820 a Thomas Allis is in Hamilton Co., OH, which possibly could be the same person. Looked in familysearch, and they had Thomas Ellis married to Rebecca Warner in Mercer Co., KY, with some other info which didn't match at all from what I can remember.
Still trying to find the parents of my ggggrandmother Elizabeth Ellen Allis married to Benjamin Pearson in 1835 Morgan Co., IL. In 1840 Scott Co., IL, Elizabeth born 1800/10. There were 4 children listed. Benjamin remarried 1848 Morgan Co., IL. Their daughter Mary Elizabeth born 1842 IL though her tombstone has 1839 and her sil's Bible also has the 1839 birthyear. But the 1850 and 1870 censuses agree on 1842. Can't find Mary E. in 1860. Don't know what happened to the other children as they do not appear in the 1850 census. In 1880 Mary E. states her mother was born in OH.
Any info or ideas very much appreciated. Thanks. Judie
