Abigail Allis was my great, great, great, great, great grandmother on my maternal side. My mother was a Wells. I have read of her capture, ransom etc. I am particularly interested in how far up the Connecticut River she was taken before crossing VT to Lake Champlain. I have lived in the upper Connecticut valley a good share of my 67 years.
