Allis question: My great-great grandfather Jacob J. Ruth of Stroudburg, PA was married to Anna Maria Williams. We know much about the Ruths and nothing about Anna. Except that many of their children's names seem to come from Anna's ancesters.

Their children were Martha Allis (Ruth), William Aster (Ruth) Edward Morton (Ruth), John Allen (Ruth), amd Ada Bell (Ruth). These seem to be names from Anna Maria (Moriah) Williams' side and not Pennsylvania names we know. I'm finding the Allis, Morton, Aster names are often found in Massachusetts. So Please send e-mail attachment. (And thanks for transcribing!) I would like to know about the MA Allis surname. Attachment: Word Pad, or Microsofts Works, or Word. I hav a Mac and a PC and can open most Word attachments. Sincerely, Adam Smith
