Nathaniel Allis was on petition to form town of Bolton, CT 1720. Is this Nathaniel of William Allis whose decendants were in Deerfield MA. Where was Nathaniel before Bolton? I am trying to understand the movement of others in Bolton from Plymouth Colony. The author of History of Tolland states the early settlers were from Windsor, Hartford and Wethersfield. I must be missing something.
