All I have is the census index info on Ohio. In 1820 were Michael, Ira, Reubin and Winthrop Allis, all in Clayton Township, Perry Co., pages 14A and 15. In Ohio 1830, Michael and Ira "Ellis" were still in Clayton Town., Perry Co., page 385. Reubin "Ellis" was in Wesley Town., Washington Co. and Winthrop Allis was in Cleveland. Does anyone have any ideas on how these Allis' except Winthrop fit into the William Allis clan? One would think that they would have been very close kin to Winthrop.
