Hi - Some of the names you have are very close to ours.We have a Thomas Allmon 1791 - 1855 who married a Sarah Sullens 1793 - 1871. Our Allmons come from N. Carolina to Fayettesville, Tenn. to Marion County, IL.All census records, etc. have kept the Allmon name spelled Allmon back to the 1700s.I have heard though some records have variations. We still have not found any more info on James.
