Julia, I am married to Laurence Allnutt Elgin, originally from Montgomery County Maryland. His mother was Ellen Dawson Allnutt Elgin .. so I shall assume you are part of the same family. We are trying to track down documentation of lineage of my husband's grandfather, Laurence Allnutt, his father, Nathan Allnutt, and his father, Laurence Allnutt. Would it be possible to communicate with your father about these relationships, to see if he has any information? Joe Dooley, who has posted at this site, and who directed me to it, is doing the legwork for my husband's and sons' SAR applications and we seem to be hitting a brick wall. I'd appreciate hearing from you.
Eileen Elgin
