Dear Karen

Indeed a curate mispelled Allum as Hallum in the Worlingworth/Horham register in the late 1700's. However, Allum is a Suffolk name that goes back to the 1600's according to the LDS, while Hallum is common in Essex. (my memory)

What sources,origins have you found? I look forward to your reply
