Dear Jos,
Just read your message. I belong to the same line of Allwoods. William Allwood I, companion preacher of John Wesley, then local preacher of Little Acton afterwards of 'Burland Farm'was my great, great, great, great, great, grandfather. I have quite an extensive family tree which goes back only to 1728 William Allwood I whose first wife was Mary Davison. This was investigated by my grandfather Francis Allwood Woolley back in 1963 or thereabouts. If you would like any information look forward to hearing from you.
Susan Macdonald
