The Daily Sentinel-Review, Friday, May 25, 1900. Death of Mrs. Hendershot--Empire Day Celebration Postponed. Burgessville, May 22--The death occurred on Sunday morning May the twentieth of Mrs. Margaret Hendershot. Deceased was an old and much respected resident of Burgessville and a large circle of friends tender their sympathay to the bereaved family. The funeral will take place from the dresidence of her son Ezra with whom she made her home to the Methodist church at two o'clock tomorrow afternoon.

Empire Day celebrations at the school have been postponed until the twenty fourth owing to Mrs. Hendershot's funeral. She was the grandmother of our principal, P. Hendershot.
