Hello,

I am researching my great great grandmother, Maria Alsdorf Jurkat. Maria was born 21 Aug 1851 in East Prussia, Village of Stolbeck. She immigrated alone at 17 to New York on 18 Jul, 1868 aboard the Herman. She settled and married in New Galilee, Beaver County PA to Frederick Jurkat. I understand most German records were destroyed after Russia forced out German residents following WW2. I am hoping some church records or other relics have survived. I have full research on the family in the USA, looking for pedigree. I would love to know if there are relatives out there. Thanks!
