Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Pat,

In Marriage Records, Franklin County, Ohio, Book 7-page 719:
Allspaugh, Jacob - Ruth (aged 16 years, consent of her father) - March 6, 1862. J. Kronenbitter, J.P.
(Elihu McCracken gives consent for my daughter Ruth E. McCracken to marry Jacob Alspaugh, March 5, 1862. Wit. - William McCracken and Jane McCracken. + [Symbol indicating Original Records. These original resords are fragments of paper stored in the Probate Court Rooms. O.S.J. Ohio State Journal].) Allspaugh was also spelled Alspaugh in the record.

I can't help with the McCracken family, but the Alspach/Allspaugh/Alspaugh information in my files is a direct line. If you're interested I'll be happy to share.

Arlene
