As stated, I have much data on Crissie and her husband. I show three generations back on the Mc Clelland side, descending from Ireland. Crissie's father is as you say Alexander, Who had a sibling George W. McClelland. It is my belief that there is no connection to the McClellan General George B., but since my relatives are son insistant, I wonder is there another General, one named McClelland, or is there some distant root to the other spelling of the name more removed than I have found??
