Confusion of Reinhardts

I have been reading, with interest, this
exchange of messages between Arlene and
Melody. Let me inject a suggestion that
the Reinhardt Alspach several of us are
seeking is in fact the #7 child in Arlene's
listing of Alspach confirmations from
the Evangelical-Reformed Church Book -
Reischweiler, Pfalz -1683-1798. If we
assume that this Alspach family was somewhat
regular with respect to when their children
are confirmed we can guess that this Reinhardt was born somewhere in the 1702-
1704 time period. I know that Reinhardt
Alspach who marries Anna Ohlinger is
generally given a birth date of about 1711,
but if we don't have a birth record for him
I'd like to know how that estimate is arrived
at. I know that some people make wild guesses based on date of marriage, perhaps,
but if he married late that estimate is likely incorrect.
So if several of the Alspach births are
found in the Sippenbach, Pirmasens church
record specifically identified with
Joh. Heinrich, cartwright of Thaleischweiler,
as father, is it possible that Reinhardt's
birth record is also there without being so
specifically identified?
