I found this interesting and want to share it. The Alspach family connects with my Bauman family. Some lines are not represented well on the internet, and this seems to be one of them.
Angeline A. Zartman taught school in her young womanhood. On Nov. 29, 1868, in St. Paul's Church, Glenford, she married Benjamin Alspach. They own a large farm at Thornville, Ohio, but at present live in their home in the town of Thornville. They have the following children: Edgar Eugene, b. Sept. 14, 1869. A daughter, born Feb. 8, 1871, died Feb. 10, 1871. Tillie Adelia, b. Oct. 12, 1873. Earl Zartman, b. Oct. 3, 1880.

Edgar E. Alspach, in June, 1889, graduated from the Thornville High School, and for some time was a student at Heidelberg University. On June 17, 1896, he married Blanche Estella Bauman, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. F. C. Bauman, Zwingle, Iowa. They have three children: Harold Theodore, b. June 15, 1900. Arthur Benjamin, b. Feb. 19, 1903. Ethel Estella. b. Jan. 25. 1905. They reside at Zwingle, Iowa, where Mr. Alspach is U. S. rural mail carrier. In 1892 he was a member of the Ohio National Guard, and a musician in the band of the 17th regiment, O. N. G
