Wayne,
Thank you for responding to my e-mail so promptly.I would appreciate it if you could also get this information to Lee Lyles and Linda Haug and have them e-mail me directly.(I am using FamilyTreemaker Program for my database). I do not have their current e-mail addresses.
I think I got Gaines E. Pendleton Alston's name from Mrs.Luckett's file.Anyways, I have made that correction in my file.I also looked up some old queries from Lee Lyles and Linda Haug and inserted some of their information in my file. Please feel free to make any corrections that you find and let me know so I can correct my database.I also have death certificates which I found at familysearch.org Pilot Program.I will have to send them to you later (remind me if you don't get them within the next week). Some are already in my file that I am sending to you.
I am sending you the current information I have on John B. House and Mary Elizabeth Reyburn-House family with the notes and sources I have.
Can you tell me if you have any wills of John B House or Mary Elizabeth Reyburn or their children or any slaves that the family owned? It is my belief that their parents may have willed their children slaves or that the former slaves moved with the children to Texas and Texas and maybe other states. My great grandfather, GEORGE HOUSE was still enumerated with John B. & Mary Elizabeth in the 1880 Dallas County, Arkansas Census. I am still trying to find out who my grandfather's parents were.My Uncle Cornelle said that some of the family used to back to Arkansas every year to hunt, but he couldn't remember their names (I think he mentioned Reyburn House).
In the 1870 Cenus there are several other slaves that are enumerated with John & Mary Elizabeth.
They are :
CHARLES2 HOUSE, b. 1855.
ROBERT HOUSE, b. 1861.
Notes for ROBERT HOUSE:
May have taken the last name of Harrison when freed from slavery per account of L. B. Harrison.
ELLEN HOUSE, b. 1863.
I do not know anything about them or where they went. There was also a James Holt, white male, that was enumerated with them in the 1870 cenus. His relationship to the family is unknown at this time.
My Uncle, Cornelle House purchased and is living on the land that John B. & Mary Elizabeth lived on way back when!!
I am also working with several African-American House Family members whose origins are from NC>Arkansas>Texas>Las Vegas, Nevada.I will send you those files in a separate e-mail because I think my line and the line from John B. House will only fit in this e-mail.

1.John B. House & Mary Elizabeth Reyburn are the first Caucasian House members that I have been able to document. George House, my great-grandfather, and his brothers & sister were enumerated with them in the August 15, 1870 Princeton Township, Dallas County, Arkansas census dwelling house #78-72.
I located a Slave Inhabitants Census dated August 16, 1860 for Jefferson County, Washington Township, Arkansas(Schedule 2, Page 2) which lists the following information:
JOHN B. HOUSE, SLAVE OWNER (owned 2 slave houses)
1 slave, age 30, black male
1 slave, age 25, black male
1 slave, age 13, black male
1 slave, age 20, black female
1 slave, age 30, black female
1 slave, age 7, black male
1 slave, age 5, black male
1 slave, age 1, black male
Names of the slaves are not listed. However, John B. lived between other slave owners, G.L. Bluckwitte (unsure of spelling) who owned 2 slaves and S. W. McGhee who owned 17 slaves.
