You need to get a copy of Martin Hollick's article in the New Hampshire Genealogical Record, vol. 21 on the Newcastle Yeatons. According to Hollick, Philip is the son of Benjamin Yeaton and Martha (perhaps) Mace. Benjamin is the son of John2 Yeaton and Elizabeth Randall. Also according to Hollick the marriage took place 18 October 1789, not 1784. In the 1790 census he was the head of a household with only one male over 16 and one female. He could be the man who doed about 1806 when his estate was taxed at Newcastle. They are probably th parents of Philp Jr. and John who call their father Philip Sr in family records. Hollick says these records are confusing and more research is necessary. Martin hangs out on the Yeaton board.
