I don't know if you're still looking at this site, but I have finally found a place where the name Amazeen occurs:
Yemen. It is the only place I have found it after many years of looking. It is part of a place name, Wadi Amazeen (a wadi is a dry river)near the town of "Hota." The name is either Arabic or Yemeni Jewish...
