Hi, My husband comes down through the Amazeen line through John - Christopher - Joseph - Christopher - William - Clarissa (she married off into the Sterling line). I asked to get this forum started to see if I could get some more info on the Amazeens.

I found a wealth of knowledge at the New Castle, NH library, as the Amazeens were originally from there and the town has transcribed all the vital records onto index cards for people to review. I only took notes on my immediate lineage, though.

I'd be interested in any other Amazeen sources or info you have found - particulary who was the original immigrant and from where.

I have John as dying around 1705/1706 (why was he called John the Greek??) I have Joseph Sr b. 1713 and d 1754. He married Hannah Brown on 1/27/1732. At least that's what the vital records suggest. Everything else I have follows Joseph's son, Christopher's line. You're welcome to it, if you'd like.
