Here is some information that is fairly solid:
John Amazeen was married to Mary Walford. Mary's maiden name was Batchelder. Mary's parents were born in the early 1590s in Devonshire, England- their names were Alexander and Anne Batchelder (Anne died in 1661). Jeremiah Walford, her deceased husband, was the son of Thomas and Jane Walford, also born in Devonshire, England around 1590. Thomas Walford's lineage may be traceable to 1399 in Devonshire, England. I found his lineage by typing in his name on the search box on (I think) Yahoo's website. The information shown for him corresponded to my information. Jane (Thomas Walford's wife), in her old age, was accused several times of being a witch (the "Stone Throwing Devil"-- of which there are some amusing stories). Jeremiah and Mary (Batchelder) Walford had 4 children (Mary, Elizabeth, Jane, and Martha). After Jeremiah's death, Mary Walford married John Amazeen. They had two sons (John, Jr. and Christopher). John Amazeen, Sr. died in 1705. John Amazeen, Jr. (1663-?) had no children.
Christopher (1665-1756) Amazeen's older half sister, Martha Walford, was married to John Moore. Martha and John Moore had a daughter who they named Martha (born in 1683, and one of six children)-- who would be Christopher's "half"-neice. Christopher had a son, Joseph (1708- 1754), with Martha , his half-neice. This information has been corroborated by several individuals who came to the same conclusion based upon their historical records.
Christopher Amazeen and Martha Moore's son Joseph married Hannah Brown and they had 4 sons (John, Ephraim, Christopher, and Joseph, Jr.) Hannah is the daughter of Samuel (1686-1772) and Elizabeth (Maloon) Brown, and is the granddaughter of Jacob (1653-1740) Brown and Sarah (Brookin) Brown. Hannah's great-grandparents were John (1588- 1687) Brown and Sarah (Walker) Brown.
Dorcas was the first wife of Joseph Amazeen, Jr. Their son was Joseph Amazeen, the third. I don't have any information if he had children.
Nathaniel Amazeen (1765-1837) was the son of John Amazeen (one of the four aforementioned sons of Hannah and Joseph Amazeen). Nathaniel's mother was Mehitabel (1736-1792). Nathaniel was married to Sarah Jones in 1782, and later, to Faith Neal in 1794.
William Amazeen (1788-1871) was one of ten children. He was married (in 1804) to Jane Jones. William's parents were Christopher Amazeen (1737-1823, another one of the four Joseph/Hannah sons) and Mary (Molly) Tredick.
